If you didn't know it, today is THE global day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women all over the damn place. And while it's been observed since the 1900s, 2018 is the year that International Woman's Day is kicking a** and taking names.

In honor of further advancing unity, advocacy and action for women, Movemeant Foundation is kicking off with several ways to celebrate:

1. Future is Female Annual Gala in San Francisco

Girls (and guys) just want to have fun at this annual cocktail party for like-minded people to share and connect on how the confidence and self-worth we build through fitness directly impacts the confidence we have professionally, academically, and personally. On this inspiring night there will be a live performance by Movemeant's body-positive Middle School girls, a live auction, open bar with wine poured by Durant & Booth, bites from A-16, Mixt, and Little Green Cyclo, a photo booth, live DJ, and a dance party led by Shonna Chiles from Confidance. Tickets may be sold out, but swing by the door!  Venue: Gallery 308, Fort Mason Landmark Building A, 2 Marina Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94123

2.  Supporting Women Who Support The World

Our friends at InStyle Magazine are getting it right by recognizing 16 fashion brands that are putting their love of IWD front and center. "Sweaty Betty is celebrating International Women’s Day and their Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Tamara Hill-Norton, with a newly designed, limited-edition tee: a tribute to women across the world," reads InStyle, as they showcase stylish looks with that women's empowerment feel.

3. Feeling the Beauty

We've been crushing  on one of our fave new beauty brands, Feel Beauty. Why? Because their mission is to tell people you're exactly as beautiful as you feel. "To us, emotion is at the core of creating a better sense of self," they say on their website. "And when beauty is a feeling, making space for emotion is more important than ever." So imagine our surprise when we learned they were crushing on us too!  Now that mutual love is coming together in four spectacular colors wrapped up in one magical box.
