Pro Board 2019
NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance
My life is a balance between serious and fun. I am a lawyer and at my day job, I oversee the Response to Human Trafficking and Unaccompanied Refugee Minors programs at the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. I went to law school at St. John's University School of Law and can still be seen rooting for their basketball team. Before I began my career as an attorney, I was a staff writer for a local newspaper in my hometown of Long Island, NY. I am also an adjunct professor at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, and an assistant coach for Team New York Aquatics, a master's synchronized swimming team in New York City. I love riding at SoulCycle, running in Riverside Park, and participating in my friends' crazy art projects.
When do you feel your most powerful
I feel the most powerful when I am pushing myself to the max! Whether is is a workout, a challenge at my job, or coaching others on my synchronized swim team, I feel my best when I am giving my best.
Why are you proud to be part of movemeant foundation?
This organization embraces the ideals I work towards in sports, fitness, and life. I want girls to know that what their bodies can do is more important than what their bodies look like, whether their goal is to run a marathon or run for office!
