Alli Forsythe, Los Angeles, CA

Alli has a distinct blend--an active side in fitness, dance, cycling and running; a creative and funny side as seen on YouTube at KymNonStop; and a love of adventure that ultimately inspires and motivates others to live in the freedom of a healthy, fun, and adventurous life.

It's because of Alli's multi-faceted personality that she recently competed CBS’s ten time Emmy winning "The Amazing Race" with her teammate and fellow Dare to Bare ambassador, Kym Perfetto. You can find Alli and her seemingly endless energy teaching SoulCycle classes in the Los Angeles area pushing her students to her mantra:  "Life is short, don't take yourself so seriously."

June 2015 Challenge:  My June challenge for  proves you can stay home and still get your fitness on.  With the help of YouTube, OnDemand, countless Apps, (& in my case, an old school DVD) you can maximize your time from the comfort of your living room. I don't always want to be around a huge crowd to sweat. Yes, this outspoken SoulCycle instructor sometimes has a little social anxiety. I love to stay home. I'm a multi-tasker. Late night laundry & leg lifts. Dishes & crunches. Doesn't matter where or what time...just move.

Chris Layda, Los Angeles, CA

As one of few male Movemeant Foundation Ambassadors, Chris Layda has a rich and deep connection to movement.  Formerly a designer in the architectural space, Chris' concentration was building plans to allow bodies to best move in the space.

As as a lifelong cyclist, Chris made the bold switch from designer to SoulCycle instructor where he now practices movement as a form of style and bold expression that combines athletic discipline with fluid motion.

June 2015 Challenge:  This may come as a surprise to many of you, but those who know me well know that I am not the most confident when having my picture taken. I am reluctant at best. I’ve always felt that people fall into 2 categories, those who take selfies and those who don’t. I fall into the latter group. Mostly this is because I don’t consider myself to be particularly attractive (please read: not fishing for compliments). Working in the fitness industry, this is something that I battle almost everyday.

For my June challenge I’m going to take my own advice. I believe that the perception we have of ourselves is malleable. Confidence and pride have to come from the inside out. Each Saturday (to my chagrin) I will post one unfiltered selfie with the hope that, with time and practice, I’ll be comfortable looking at the image of myself. This is, after all, the face I wear every day! If you’re interested please join me!

Olivia Ward, New York, NY

Season 11 winner of NBC's The Biggest Loser.  Instructor at SoulCycle and co-founder of myFitspiration.com.

Olivia’s biggest motivation for going on NBC’s The Biggest Loser was being 261 pounds, 35 years old, diagnosed with PCOS and being told she would likely never have children if she didn’t lose weight. As an opera singer, she was also tired of losing coveted roles to people who looked healthier – it wasn’t enough to just have a great voice. She received a degree in vocal performance at the University of Alabama, and master’s degrees in vocal performance and opera performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. A poor diet and no exercise led to her obesity, and the weight gain continued as she was diagnosed with PCOS when says she “completely gave up.”

After spending 22 weeks on the Biggest Loser Ranch, Olivia lost 129 pounds and gained a new happier and healthier life. Olivia continues to maintain that weight loss and inspire others as an instructor at SoulCycle in NYC and travels the country to speak about fitness, fashion and all things fun!

Jenny Gaither, San Francisco, CA

Founder, CEO of Movemeant Foundation and Senior SoulCycle Instructor

Life-changing moments often come when they’re least expected, and that was true for Jenny: pedaling a stationary bike in a studio in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, sweltering under a gold lamé jacket. After becoming a SoulCycle instructor only a few months earlier—a career move that brought her face-to-face with a lifetime’s worth of body image issues— Gaither used her sweaty, endorphin filled classes to advocate for strength, empowerment and self-worth. But when the 22-year old led a Rihanna-theme ride and found herself too self-conscious to shed her gold lamé jacket, she was faced with the uncomfortable truth that her journey of self-acceptance was only beginning. Four years later, that journey inspired her to found the Movement Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to empowering young women to feel confident in their bodies by providing them with tools to be active.
